Thot Squad @thotsquad performs "Pound Cake" live off the Floor. Thot Squad is a bombastic viral artist from Flint, MI. Known for their outrageous lyrics and performance, they bring a unique new voice to hip hop, having found incredible success on TikTok, and passing 1 million streams with multiple songs on Spotify.

This session was primary funded by the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, through their Women & Girls Fund.

This session was designed for the artist to reclaim spaces, specifically in their high school experience. The session was shot in a dance studio as an ode to the artist's theatrical background. Each song in the session builds on the different aspects of high school, culminating together in the final song. The set design took a minimalist approach to set pieces in order to enhance the high art concept of the session of high school and theatre performance.
