Happy Earth Day! In honor of our beautiful planet, Orchid Quartet and Long Haul Films are proud to share our latest collaborative video “Summertime” by George Gershwin.

Fueled by frustration at our current natural climate disasters and inspired by our world travels, we have decided to release this music video as a reminder that our environment is something to be treasured and protected.

We have frequently asked ourselves what we can do as musicians to help protect the Earth. Although there is only so much four people can do in the face of such devastating environmental changes, we believe that we have to power to touch people with our music and move them to take action or to donate to an organization that aligns with our values. Today, we are proud to be partnering with The League of Conservation Voters and their artist relations program Rock The Earth. LCV works to turn environmental values into national, state, and local priorities by holding elected officials accountable for their votes and actions and works to elect pro-environment candidates.
