Giovanni Damico is a DJ and musician from Italy and he’s the owner of White Rabbit Recordings. You probably have not realised but every January Lumberjacks in Hell releases a 12" by the very talented Italian to kick of the year. And every year it seems Giovanni takes on a new step in his own progression as a producer. Make no mistake, there is nothing sampled here, no fake boobs, hair or teeth. Giovanni is singing and playing all of the instruments. Marcel Vogel’s adopted Italian son has become a full-grown Italo Boogie producer and singer making his heritage proud. It's very special for the label to have this ongoing relationship with one of the finest talents and that he keeps coming back to serve seconds. This EP is quirky, funky and totally original. It's Giovanni’s vocal delivery that makes this EP of loose disco workouts, SO unique. ‘The Sound of Revolution EP' is a slinky party juggernaut, crammed with maximum musicality!

Lumberjacks in Hell was founded in 2010 by Marcel Vogel and is inspired by the sound of Chicago and Detroit & Disco and Soul. Biggest hits are the 2013 compilation Chicago Service and Karizma’s Work It Out. while all releases have found major support on the dancefloors of the world. In 2018 Lumberjacks founder Marcel Vogel teamed up with BBE to release the compilation The Sound of Lumberjacks in Hell featuring Seven Davis Jr, Ant La Rock and Nachtbraker.
