Description
Hi, Long time no see! I tried to show you how to play the lead (Eric Clapton's part) of "Blue Suede Shoes (John Lennon "Live Peace in Toronto 1969" version)" with movies and TABs.
0:54 - 2 bars before 1st solo
1:42 - 2 bars before 2nd solo
Do you know "Live Peace in Toronto 1969"? I learned that the Plastic Ono Band, including John, Yoko, Eric Clapton, Klaus Voormann (Bass) and Alan White (Drums), was invited to Toronto Rock and Roll Revival, September 1969, and played 6 or so songs without rehearsing enough. After the event, a live album was released, called "Live Peace in Toronto 1969".
At first, I was going to cover "Yer Blues" of the live, only to find that it was very difficult for me, and for almost all of you I think, to hear clearly the lead behind Yoko's artistic screaming voice.
Anyway, this "Blue Suede Shoes" is very fun, and relatively easy, to cover. I played the instruments a bit slower than the original for beginners sake. If you can play them faster, please do so!
I hope you enjoy!
