Narration: The birth of Jesus is recorded by Luke, a Gentile Christian, who was a friend and traveling partner of the Apostle Paul. It's not surprising that he researched the birth of Jesus from an earthly home -- those of Mary and Joseph and the shepherds. Luke went a step further, and reported the impressions of the first Christmas from heaven's "home." The human reaction was wonder and amazement, but the response of heaven and all the angels was sheer joy and celebration.
